What Does CLA Stand For?
CLA stands for Conjugated Linoleic Acid. CLA naturally occurs in high fat foods such as cheese or beef. CLA gelcaps derive their CLA from sunflower or safflower oil, which undergo super concentration to yield the active CLA oil, so you get the CLA you want, without all the fat and calories from cheese or beef.

How Does CLA Reduce Body Fat?
CLA works to reduce body fat by preventing fat accumulation in fat cells. Fat normally enters the fat cell through a door that is controlled by an enzyme, the key. By acting on this enzyme, or key, CLA keeps the door locked. When the door is locked, fat cannot enter the cells thereby not allowing the amount of fat to increase in the cells. The less fat that is present in the cells, the smaller and less mature they become, this helps to reduce the level of fat in the body. CLA also works to increase lean muscle tissue activity (calorie burning) by enhancing the enzyme activity in muscle cells.

How Much CLA Should I Take?
3 grams of CLA has been scientifically proven to improve body leanness AND muscle tone while dieting. This amount of active CLA could only be obtained before by eating over 5,000 calories per day of high fat foods, such as cheese and beef. PVL now delivers this pure Isolated CLA, free from harmful fats such as trans fats and cholesterol, so you can now get just the pure CLA - without all the calories! Up to 9 grams of CLA per day may be taken. CLA also works best when cycled, by using it for 3-4 weeks and then not using it for the next 3-4 weeks, then start the cycle over again.

What Makes PVL CLA Better Than Other CLA Brands?
1. PVL’s CLA gelcaps contain up to 60% MORE active CLA than other capsules. This means that you would normally have to take 5 capsules of some other brands to get the same benefit as you would from just 3 PVL CLAgelcaps!

2. Our capsules also contain the exact 2 CLA isomers (there are a few different fat isomers that can be called CLA) that do all the work; (c9, t11 and t10, c12). This information is proudly present right on our label. This is important because not all products that are called CLA, are CLA and many other CLA labelled products on the market do not have these 2 isomers listed on their label, and thus are simply compressed unconcentrated sunflower or safflower oil ñ not CLA.

Has CLA Ever Been Studied?

Studies have ranged from as short as 10 days up to as long as 1 year, and in each study, fat loss was the result. CLA-3 is not a magic bullet, but it comes close. Eat a sensible diet, restrict your intake of sugar, exercise and try CLA at 3-4 capsules per day for 3-4 weeks.

Pace Evening Express Auckland - $11.50

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and your order will be delivered between 6-9pm that evening. This shipping option will only be displayed for valid Auckland addresses at check-out. 

If ordering on the weekend, your parcel will be shipped the next business day for delivery that evening. If there is no one home to sign for the parcel or it can't be left in a safe place, your parcel will via transferred to the depot for standard NZ Post delivery.


Urgent Tonight - Auckland Metropolitan area only 

Get your order delivered between 6-9pm in Auckland for a flat fee of $10.

To qualify, order before 3:45pm Monday to Friday and select Urgent Tonight at check out. No deliveries on weekends and public holidays.

Check if your address is with the Urgent Tonight service area. Delivery areas include suburban areas from Albany to Papakura.


South Island Overnight - not currently available

$10 per shipment - order before 3:45pm to qualify. Valid weekdays, rural addresses will take longer. No deliveries on weekends and public holidays.


Priority Dispatch

Jump the queue and ensure your order gets packed and dispatched ahead of the pack for $10 (Sunday-Friday). Your order will be prioritised by a dedicated team member for dispatch. Delivery is via CourierPost standard delivery - signature required (this is not express shipping). This option is great during sale and holiday periods when we have high volumes of orders.


Click and Collect - Auckland only

Order online and collect your order from your preferred collection point. Please allow up to three working days for your order to be available for collection. We will contact you when it’s ready.


Returns

In the event of receiving damaged, faulty (where faults not disclosed) or incorrect items, please send photos of the issue and your order number to sales@nzmuscle.co.nz within 7 days of receiving your order.
