Quest Choc Chip Low carb Protein Cookie Recipe
This Recipe makes 6 x protein cookies

Ingredients needed:

  • Quest Chocolate Protein 3 x scoops - (Quest powder its the number one powder for Protein Baking as it keeps your baking moist wont dry out like other proteins)
  • Apple sauce 3 x Tablespoon
  • Coconut oil 1 x Tablespoon
  • Coconut Flour 1 x Tablespoon
  • Egg whites 100ml
  • Sugar free choc chips (or regular choc chips if you are not too calorie fussed )1/2 cup
  • Rolled oats 3/4 cup
  • Peanut butter (Flavoured MyNut Butter is awesome)

Pre-heat oven while mixing your ingredients (Approx 170 depending on the strength)

Step by step Instructions:

  • Take your 3 x scoops of quest protein powder and add to mixing bowl
  • Add 3/4 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 x Tablespoon of Coconut flour only (as you don't want them to rise into a cake like) they need to remain flat and cookie like
  • 3 x Tablespoon of Apple sauce
  • 1 x Tablespoon Cinnamon MyNut Peanut butter (or plain if preferred)
  • (mix and combine these together) then add the following
  • 1 x tablespoon of coconut oil (melt this and add to your mix and mix in well)
  • Gradually add in your egg whites as you want your mix to remain thick and dough like(not to sticky)
  • Final Touch add in Chocolate Chips

Mould cookies together:
(I prefer to use a cookie cutter to keep them the same size but you can do them by hand just as good and either way they still taste amazing
*Mould 6 x Protein cookies together and place in oven (its good to put them on a sheet of baking paper as the choc chips melt and could stick to your tray
*Place cookies in oven 1 do 12 minutes and then I turn them over and do another 12, but this depends on oven strength so there's no harm in keeping an eye on them(bake them until crunchy) they taste amazing like this

For a cookie Sandwich filling you mix
*1.5 scoops of protein and 4 x Tablespoon of water into a paste (leave it to set in the fridge for ten minutes once cookies are cooled down you can add the filling to the base pop on the lid and there you have your cookie sandwich
(I used quest Vanilla ) as this brand sets amazing but you can pick any of your favourite flavours.
